A historic moment for Turkey's maritime industry.
Launched from the Turquoise Yachts shipyard in Istanbul Pendik, Angelique has taken the title of largest yacht ever built in Turkey. With five decks, 2,550 gross tons and an interior and exterior by H2 Yacht Design, she joins the Mediterranean charter season this summer.
More Than a Yacht Story
Angelique's significance is not merely about size. This vessel is proof that Turkey is no longer simply a producer in the global superyacht market — it is now a competitor.
The Eastern Mediterranean is no longer seen as a "value alternative." Turkey is experiencing steady year-on-year price increases and rising demand.
Turkey's yacht charter market has reached $500 million, representing ten per cent of the Mediterranean. And flagships like Angelique will push that figure higher.
Who Is Angelique?
Construction began in 2021. With a lift, spa, beach club and sports area, Angelique offers a sea residence indistinguishable from a five-star hotel. The interior draws on Art Deco for inspiration, while the striking hull colour — known as Tour de France Blue — commands immediate attention.
Where This Summer?
Angelique's first season begins in the Eastern Mediterranean, then moves west. Greece, Turkey and Croatia are on the itinerary. Sea trials were completed in April in the Sea of Marmara.
With over thirty years of experience, Turquoise Yachts is firmly inside the world superyacht league. Angelique is poised to become Turkey's strongest representative within it.
